From November 4th to 7th, 2015, the 2015 Sino-Euro Smarter Cities Summit and 2015 China (Shanghai) Smarter Cities International Expo (CSCIE) jointly sponsored by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MHURD) and Agency for European Integration and Economic Development (AEI), was held with great fanfare at Shanghai New International Exhibition Center. China Security & Fire Co., Ltd. (CSF), following the theme “Innovative Smart Cities and Serve Smart Life”, put up a wonderful show, presenting overall smart city solutions, and shared and exchanged new ideas on construction of smart cities with many professional guests.
2015 CSCIE-Sino-Euro Smarter Cities Summit venue
This Summit had the theme “Smartness makes a better life”. Mayors, government delegates, experts and scholars from 9 European countries and 277 famous domestic pilot smart cities, as well as representatives from large enterprises related to smart city planning and smart city comprehensive solutions from China, UK, France, Japan, US, Canada, Netherlands and Belgium, totally about 25,000 people, were invited. They displayed latest technical products and solutions in smart city industry, thereby offering new ideas for construction of smart cities.
CSF focused on overall smart city solutions, comprehensively demonstrating CSF’s latest technologies, products and ideas in smart city fields, in the form of “Summit + Exhibition”, through topic-based presentations, round table forums, and product and solution demonstrations. CSF established a comprehensive exhibition area for smart city solutions, wherein, the “1-2-5-N” construction strategic layout for smart cities, and CSF’s smart city construction path of “top-level planning first, big system integration taken as core, and focus kept on own advantages” were displayed. With such strategic layout and construction path, CSF demonstrated its advanced smart city top-level plan design abilities, strong city-level big system integration abilities and expertise in 6 big fields including “smart city comprehensive management platform, urban safety, smart building, smart medical care (medical care + elderly support), smart education and smart traffic”. Through abundant solutions and diversified success cases, and utilizing interactive experiences, CSF perfectly showcased advanced technologies and new ideas about overall smart city solutions for the first time.
During the Expo, with differentiated innovative solutions, CSF became a major highlight, attracting many professional audiences and guests. On the opening day, Mr. Helmut Greiner, Chairman of AEI, and Mr. Hubert Gorbach, representative of EU Commission, Austria’s former Prime Minister and Minister of Transportation, Innovation and Technologies, delegates from Austria and Spain, Chen Yiming, General Engineer of MHURD, Yang Rong, Head of Building Energy Savings Division, Liu Qianwei, General Engineer of Shanghai Urban-Rural Construction Administration, and leaders and delegates of Ministries visited CSF smart city solution exhibition area, and watched all products and onsite demonstration.

By combining current market trends and industry development, Mr. Zhou Xia, Vice Chairman and President of CSF reported CSF’s overall smart city solution to guests, including leaders and international mayor groups. Mr. Zhou Xia also especially introduced the new generation “Security Patrol Robot System”, which guests showed tremendous interest in. After being tested by experts, this robot system has reached leading levels domestically. Guests appreciated CSF’s high-end results in smart cities, cloud computation and Big Data presented in the report.

Mr. Zhou Xia was invited to join in guest dialogue on Smart Cities and New Energy Application Session in Sino-Euro Smarter Cities Summit. He focused on the topic “Smart Cities, Livable Cities/Towns”, exchanged ideas and discussed solutions with domestic and foreign government representatives, experts and enterprise representatives.
From professional perspective, Mr. Zhou Xia explained his understanding and construction idea about “Smart Cities, Livable Cities/Towns”. In his opinion, “smart cities” and “livable towns" should be developed with a focus on convenience, information, smartness, low-carbon, ecology and humanity. Starting from urban security, serving common people, CSF offers consultation, planning and construction services for smart cities and safe cities, and resolves funding problems for cities. CSF proposes “smarter life, energetic industry and efficient government” as construction concept for “smart cities” and “livable towns”, aimed towards “creating smart cities, servicing smart life”. In addition, CSF has a strategic concept of “open and cooperation, resource sharing, win the future together” based on internet thinking, to achieve cross-industry cooperation and resource integration, in order to create the blueprint for “smart city, safe city and cross-industry Internet +”. By combining demands of modern cities and concepts, and CSF’s construction ideas for smart cities, he explained CSF’s idea to construct an overall smart city solution and its applications.
